Edward Curtis drawing

I haven't been perfect about doing a drawing a day but I'm hitting every other day pretty well. The other night I was wondering what to draw and I spotted a book about Edward Curtis on the coffee table. There was a great face waiting to be drawn. I thought it would be fun to show the drawing halfway through and then done - or as done as a sketch needs to be, if not a bit overdone. Here they are!

First scribble of the new year

Happy New Year!

Trite but a good thought nevertheless. One of my resolutions is to sketch, draw or paint something every day. So I started with a scribble, which I'll put in. I'm not going to spend much time on this today cause I need to go do another scribble. I'm rusty. But I don't do much art in the late fall cause I'd rather do Christmas. But it's time to start again. New year- back to painting.
